Printing Uploaded Files
I am trying to use PBWIKI as operating manual and all around resource for my medical practice. I would like to be able to upload the myriad of handouts we give to patients and be able to print them without opening document, or perhaps have a print option to click on which will provide a shortcut for the whole process

Inappropriate? That's a tricky one. I'm not sure it can be done.
Here's a given: Any document stored on the internet can't be viewed or printed until it's downloaded into your PC. That's true even for the text and images on this page. The text and images download quickly into a temporary area of your hard drive and are then displayed by your web browser.
The best you can do is to convert most of your documents to PDF files. At least with PDF files, you can view them inside the browser window and print them easily by clicking the Print button.
I’m hoping this helps.

Inappropriate? One other option would be to use the "Save page as PDF" that is at the bottom of every wiki page.
To find it: look near the bottom left of every page, you'll find a link that says "Save page as PDF" - click that and you'll automatically be able to download the the current page as a PDF.
Hope that helps!

Inappropriate?I am able to have pdf file permanently open on page . I am also able to add file on my page without having it permanently open.
The next best thing would be: Can I have a list of pdfs on page and then open one in an existing Acrobat window on page without opening new browser window or tab. Not as elegant as sending the file to some kind of print 'engine' directly but more elegant than opening new window each time. Any thoughts on current or future capabilities. This would be a great file manager capability and increase need for space!
Thanks
