Inappropriate?Hi Sparkguitar05,
When you click "steak lock" you are able to edit a page the other person was editing. This causes them to lose their latest edits.
On our office wiki we always ask the person who is currently editing before we steal their lock.
Here are some other threads on edit locks:

Inappropriate?Whn people don't use the proper means to finish working on a page (by either clicking "Save" or "Cancel"), the software doesn't know that they have finished and doesn't unlock the wiki for someone else to edit. In this case, the only way to access the page for editing is by stealing the lock.
