Inappropriate?In a 1.0 wiki, you simple type this at the top of a page.
<toc>
In a 2.0 wiki, click on the Plugins button and choose "Table of Contents".
A line of text will appear in the TOC, everytime you type in a line of text and format it with any of the Heading styles.
</toc>
I’m hoping this helps

I"m sorry, but this still does not say where and how to actually put the text. I am overlooking something that should be so obvious or either I'm expecting more from this plugin than I should.
If you will look at other plugins, there is always a place in the preview screen to actually add text or it is so clear as to how to use the plugin.
I go to the plugin and then see the Green Box when I save. I click edit again and type in text and nothing happens until I use the font heading.
Perhaps a mini video would clear things up for me.
I appreciate your reply, but it really didn't solve any problem for me. -

Inappropriate?My fault. I do have a tutorial page to look at. The part that may be confusing you is that the TOC doesn't accept any text into itself.
It only makes a table from looking at content you already have typed into the rest of the page. If you have a blank page you won't see anything in the table of contents. If you add text to a page and format the titles of each section with the Heading formats, then you'll see the table of contents.

Clif, Thanks for the help. I finally got it! Even the return to the top of the page link. My problem (besides not reading directions) was not understanding the purpose of the plugin. I wanted (and assumed) the Table of Contents to link to pages and not to a portion of the same page.
Thanks for your patience.
