Any chance of adding to do lists for project management purposes as a plugin?

Inappropriate? This is something that's on the roadmap, but I don't know exactly when it will be released, in the current Beta, or if it will be later on. I think it's also going to be more of a feature on the Sidebar, as opposed to a plugin.
I’m hoping to see it soon!

Inappropriate? There's also something to be said for some straight-forward text-based to-do lists. PBwiki uses the basic numbered lists for a lot of internal stuff, and I personally am glad that we do, because the simplicity can't be beat.
I’m a geezer about some things

Inappropriate?I have been struggling for quite some time to use a google to do list plugin and a google sticky notes plug-in and it's driving me crazy. Neither of them will save the lists I type in.
I also don't really want the straight-forward text-based to-do lists.
Why don't the plug-in's work??? I thought they were designed to work on a web site and specifically on pbwiki's 1.0 website???
It appears that they must need a cookie on the originators personal computer which sort of defeats the idea of having it on a wiki - which is supposed to be interactive. Why is the plugin not saved on pbwiki's site?? -
Sara, I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding on how those plugins work. These plugins are 3rd party products that you can integrate into PBwiki, but are not necessarily things that we have any control over. The ones you are using seem to be based on cookies to begin with--since saving the notes on a separate server would require a storage architecture of some sort, the programmers of those plugins use local storage through cookies. I personally would be wary of using a cookie-based sticky note, because a) you have to be on that computer and b) if you accidentally clear cookies or the cookie expires, it's gone forever. -
Inappropriate?I do believe you are right. I'm bummed. I really liked the sticky notes stacked on top of one another. Do you know any place I can get some that work on pbwiki??

Inappropriate?Hi Sara,
PBwiki is working on a feature that will allow users to create tasks for both themselves and to others who have access to the wiki. We need some time to work on it, but it'll be ready sometime in the near future :)

Inappropriate? While PBwiki is working on this feature (keep up the good work PBwiki!) I'm having good luck using Remember the Milk's Google Gadget to keep a To Do list on my wiki. Just set up an account (http://www.rememberthemilk.com) and then use the embed code from iGoogle and you're all set.
I’m happy
