URL with "%20" not working
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?the %20 indicates that there is a space in the URL. If those '%20' are in a file name of some sort (an image, html page, etc.) then you will need to rename those files. If it is a URL from an outside source, I am unsure what to do. HOpe that helps.

Inappropriate?Hi there,
This is a bug that we're looking into - I don't know when it will be fixed though. You may be able to fix the URL by going into the Source directly. -
Inappropriate?I would suggest going to http://tinyurl.com and converting the URL that way until we get a fix. Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi kdemares & Casey,
Thanks so much for your responses. It's an outside source I have no control over. I will await the bug fix.
But in the meantime - Vu Nguyen - THANKS! What a cool tool! There are so many things I could use that for. NEATO!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Temporary fix:
Edit the link (not the text that represents it) so that any '+' is replaced by:
Hit save and then the link will work.
The caveat: If at any time you edit that page again it will revert back to '+' and will no longer work....so everytime you edit ANYTHING on the page, you will also have to reinsert into the link.
I’m awesome

Inappropriate?I'm also having the problem and the space is used throughout a government website I want to link into so I'm not going to be able to get the site owner to change it.
Thanks to Vu Nguyen for the tinyurl tip. I've used it before for long URLs but didn't think about using it for this problem.
I'm also having the same problem when I use URL links of the form
file://long name with a lot of spaces
with the other URL type.
We have the ability to change filenames to remove spaces but this is not practical and will prevent wider use of pbwiki in a a 1000+ employee company.
We use the file:// url's in pbwiki pages to provide quick and fast access to a wide variety of files that are scattered about multiple servers and in multiple locations through our WAN.
So, a fix to this problem is a big issue standing in the way of our potential use of pbwiki
I’m frustrated
