Verdana font is now serif?
So the 'Verdana' font selection on the drop-down font list for point-and-click seems to have become a serif font, and there's nothing I can do to turn it off.
Non-formatted font continues to remain sans-serif, but the problem is, there is no 'remove formatting' button (which I propose should be implemented, since it would make stuff like removing links a lot easier!), so I have no way to unformat the font.
Quite frankly, the serif font is annoying and difficult to read, and I'd appreciate it if someone could find a way to undo this. I tried switching the entry to classic editor, but that removed almost all my formatting, made half the entry bold, got rid of my indents, etc. etc., and I didn't want to have to dig through the whole thing to repair it.
The page in question is here: http://moksa-university.pbwiki.com/Ma...(Okage) , and the section in question is under "Game Canon", but I'm experiencing the same problem on other pages on the Wiki. Any way to fix it?

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate? Can you try a different computer and see if the fonts are rendered the same way on the other computer? Also, try and visit http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/Wi... and see if the Verdana font there also has serifs.

Inappropriate? The Verdana font on that site looks fine on this computer.
Ah, of course. *facepalm* I went and checked the Wiki page on a PC running Windows XP (I'm running Ubuntu Gutsy) and it looked fine there. Guess my OS doesn't want to read the Wiki's version of Verdana for some reason. (Which is odd, because it works everywhere else.)
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Facepalm indeed! I understand your frustration. What is going on here is that every web browser or Operating System (etc, etc) handles fonts themselves. The best that we can do is tell the browsers "hey, this font should be Verdana, or Arial, or New Times Roman".
That website that I linked to above is a list of the most common fonts that most web browsers support.
Anyway, here is a website that might help you get the fonts on your Ubuntu machine looking nice: http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2005/09/0...
Yay Ubuntu! -
Inappropriate? Is there something different about how the Wiki describes Verdana, since Ubuntu will recognize it on that first site, and with the Wiki's unformatted font, but not on the formatted font? :\
Ah, thank you, that's very helpful! (I maintain that a 'remove formatting' option would be handy, but I suppose that's for a separate suggestion post. :)
