Inappropriate?HI Eugene,
The sandbox page is meant to be a place to play around and become familiar with the wiki editor and features.
You can find the sandbox page by clicking "show all pages" on the bottom right side of your wiki page. (The show all pages link is in the wiki information box).

Inappropriate? Thanks, KrissyMo. I see where I was erroneously looking or the button or link called "sandbox."

Inappropriate?No Problem!
The sandbox page is a bit of a paradox to me. I view each page like a sandbox where you can post information and immediately build on that or easily erase it all and start again.
What did wikis for Dummies have to say about the sandbox page?

Inappropriate? Also, while it's awesome that we're featured in that book, it's challenging to run a constantly-evolving hosted service and keep it relevant to the book that's about a product that's substantially progressed since the author last hit 'save'. This is in clear contrast to the old model of "Photoshop 2.5LE for Dummies" or some such, where it really was talking about the exact same product you could walk down to a store and buy, for a couple of years. Computer software as an industry has seen some spectacular changes lately, it's really cool.
I’m excited

Inappropriate? The Sandbox is particularly useful when you don't want to ruin something on a pre-existing page but need to test something out. For example, if my FrontPage gets a lot of traffic, it may not be a good idea to make an edit that could potentially destroy the existing format. Instead, I can copy the contents to another page, figure things out in that page, then copy them back when I am done.
Some PBwiki users also make use of this test wiki, which is open for anyone to fiddle around with: http://non-educational.pbwiki.com/
I’m happy to help
