Inappropriate?Hi there;
I'm looking into this right now. -
Inappropriate?Hi, Mark.
Yeah, my manager told me that she saw the error a few hours when she added two additional people to the wiki. But then, after adding the accounts, she asked those people to log in and saw the spreadsheets returned to view. Now, they're gone again. These seems to me to be an access problem of some kind to do with PBWiki rights to num sum spreadsheets (I presume these are private spreadsheets, but I just started exploring this really after I posted my question), or num sum providing of num sum spreadsheets, but the account I just created in num sum shows general spreadsheets just fine.
Aagh. Anyway, I don't know if any of this information is helpful, but thank you for your help. I have no backups of those spreadsheets, because the spreadsheet did not appear to offer a back-up mechanism, so , I guess you can figure out what my situation is.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?A quick experiment logging inside the wiki. I tried creating a new page and embedding a spreadsheet and I get a "File Not Found" error when I save and view the page. That is with a brand-new spreadsheet, too, not one of our earlier ones. OK, so this was not sabotage or error on our side. Phew!
I’m relieved.

Inappropriate?Hi Noah;
Thanks for the details. I've just deployed a fix that should solve this problem. I'm sorry for the inconvenience — this was a problem caused by me.
I’m sorry

Inappropriate?OK, well, no problem. I'm just glad I can see the spreadsheets again.
Here's my next issue, and it's the underlying problem over here, so's my boss doesn't give me the evil eye. I have been scratching my head over here trying to figure out what happened. When I loaded the iframe url of the spreadsheet into a browser using the browser url field, I got my spreadsheet. Technically, that's a security issue unless access to that spreadsheet is tied to a pbwiki cookie or something. Actually, I just tested that in a clean browser, and found I could see the spreadsheet.
Anyway, from messing with a numsum account I activated in the last hour, I found that a default numsum spreadsheet uses show instead of show_plain, and switching the url to show gives me access to a file menu for my num_sum. Which is great, I even have access to the spreadsheet export options, except when I select one, I get a "File Not Found" error.
Long-term, it's smarter for me to have backups of those numsum spreadsheet files. My boss expects me to produce them. Basically, I can either take screenshots, retype, or do slow edit-copies of the spreadsheets. Is there any way you could provide access to those export options? Even better would be if you could switch embedded spreadsheets to allow pbwiki users access to the numsum file menu inside the iframe that holds the spreadsheet.
Thanks again for restoring access to the spreadsheets.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hi, Mark.
Thank you for the e-mail suggestion to right-click. With that URL, the source code view gives me a decent table to copy. It's still laborious, but much less trouble than before. Thanks.
I’m thankful
