Inappropriate?I got this example to work. There are quite a few "countdown" Google Gadgets; which one are you using?
I’m thinking this will work

Inappropriate?Thank you so much for the sample. I've tried them all. Maybe I'm not doing it right... I click on "Insert Plugin", then Productivity, Any Google gadget, i find a countdown, change the info, get the code, the copy and paste it into the box. If I get past the preview screen, it just comes up as the Google logo! I must be doing something wrong! does it have to be on it's own page? I have it on a page with text and links.
I’m still frustrated!

Inappropriate? If your wiki isn't private, would you consider inviting me as a writer to the wiki? I'll be glad to have a look at it for you. I am guyfawkes (at) brutsch (dot) com.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?I added you. let me know what you think. Email me at amandadonatelli@live.com
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, you chose to create a "business"-class wiki. As such, you are unable to add any more users until you pay up. Even though you invited me as a writer, they have denied me writer access. I really apologize for this inconvenience.
I have no idea what sort of other restrictions they might have put in place to force you to pay. It is very possible that your countdown widget will not work for that reason alone; these guidelines, like most PBwiki guidelines, are unpublished.
At this point, you will need to contact tom (at) pbwiki (dot) com to negotiate the release of your wiki.
I’m really feeling sorry for Amanda, if she's not using this for work

Inappropriate?Amanda, if you send your email address to my email address, I'll add you to the 2.0 Forum Demo Wiki, where you can try adding your widget. If we can get it to work there, you can duplicate those steps in your wiki.
I’m going to get this working, one way or the other

Inappropriate?OK....we're using this as an inner-office information tool. Were you able to read it at least? I appreciate your help, this is my first attempt at this.
I’m bummed that this has become so difficult!!
-
Inappropriate?I changed you to a reader. Would you mind looking at it and telling me what you think of the layout? I don't link the links in the "preparing" section are done yet... I must have gotten sidetracked when I was creating those! I'm just interested in your thoughts.
I’m happy for the help!

Inappropriate?I'm really not a visual developer (I make things work; other folks make it pretty!), but functionally, it seems ok. The red and yellow(ish) are a bit jarring.
If I click any of the links, I get a message telling me I must log in to the wiki. I guess they've really locked it down.
I’m disappointed
-
It's funny - PBwiki won't let me edit (or even view) most pages, but I *do* get email notifications whenever *you* make an edit! -
Inappropriate?Thank for your time... I'll remove you so you don't get anymore messages... I'll be changing it a lot!
I’m thankful for Guy Fawkes help!!
-
Inappropriate?Ok...now i got it... one your messages went into my junk folder, but I found it! I tried the countdown on your demo page and got it to work. Then followed the steps on mine. I didn't really do anything different than before except follow through completely. Or maybe it was the position on the page? Either way it's there! Thank you, again!
I’m very happy for the help

I'm just glad it's working. Thanks for using PBwiki!
