Why can't I add images??
I have been trying to add images to my wiki (which, unfortunately, is just a school assignment), but it is not working. No matter what I do it won't work. I have read all of the help topics, and the instructions do not seem applicable to the options that I have on my editing screen. I have been working on this for 2 hours, and I am about to start crying because nothing is working. The 2 images that I want to add are in my "Files" but I can't seem to do anything with them.

Inappropriate?Well, I will reply to my own question. Apparently, .bmp files are not considered images. Because I just uploaded a .jpg, and that seems to work. What is up with that? No .bmp's allowed? A list of acceptable file formats would have saved me two hours and a lot of frustration. -
Inappropriate?I'm sorry that this happened to you - I'm going to ask the engineers about allowed image formats right now. It seems like a pretty obvious thing to have listed, I agree, so obvious we didn't even think of it. Again, my apologies.
I’m wondering about TIFFs and PNGs now too...

Inappropriate?The only allowed image formats are:
JPG, PNG and GIF.
I'm thinking that we never mentioned this because most of us old timers on the internet just seem to take it for granted. It's not a limit here at PBwiki, it's for all the World Wide Web.

The reason that .bmp files are not used for the web is that they are awfully inefficient storage formats, especially for sending at high speed from one computer to another like the Internet does.
