Why can't my editor log on?
I invited a staff member to be editor and he is unable to log on. When I visit the settings tab and click on users, his email is listed but when I go to click on it, I get the following message:
Could not perform this operation because the default mail client is not properly installed. Is this a clue to the mystery? Thanks for your help!

Inappropriate?The message you are receiving when you click on your user's name is not related to this problem. It just means you don't have an email program correctly set up on the computer you are using, as it is trying to send an email to the name you clicked on.
As far as your editor not being able to log in, make sure that he/she has clicked on the link that was sent as part of his invitation, and that he/she has set up an account. Once this has been completed, then there shouldn't be a problem logging in. You might need to send another invitation.
