Will my wiki be deleted if I go through long phases of inactivity?
I plan on using my wiki sporadically, but I will be using it. Will you ever delete my wiki after a certain length of inactivity?

Inappropriate?Hi Norris-
Our current policy is that we don't take action to delete any data, whether it sees usage or not (though from the settings panel, users can take action to delete their wiki if they so choose). However, keep in mind that if this is done, the wiki name can never be used again. -
Inappropriate?Hi Norris,
Expect to see an email from me if your wiki has seen long periods of inactivity. This doesn't mean we're deleting your wiki, just checking in to see if we can help. -
Inappropriate? So, some time in the future, after the original creator deleted the wiki, is it possible that another user will be able use the same wiki name again?
I found a problem (or a bug). I was testing the wiki so I used one account as a creator and another one as a participant. when the creator left the wiki, although the first participant becomes the admin (or originally the participant is also the admin), the participant is still not authorize to delete the wiki.
On the other hand, as the creator left the wiki, although he/she receives the notification, the creator still needs to be invited to the wiki to delete the wiki.
So i think the problem here is, if there is any way the creator can authorize one of the participant to become the one who can determined wheter or not he/she wants to delete the wiki?
(or maybe PBwiki does have this feature?) -
Inappropriate? The best thing we can do is have the creator email us from the email address they used to sign up to verify that they want to change ownership of the wiki. This may be something we change in the future, but we don't really have anything exactly like this. If the creator of the wiki sets up a wiki invite key at the Admin level, anyone who has that wiki key will be able to delete the wiki. However, along with deletion being completely permanent, the wiki name (yourwiki.pbwiki.com) is also retired and there is no way to get it back again, even if you were the one who originally had that wiki. So a better option would be to delete the content of the wiki, and the archived content if you really want, and keep the wiki for future use on your or someone else's part.
I started a wiki a while ago that I ended up not like the name i had chosen for it, so I deleted everything on there, and left on the front page a message that anyone who wanted to use that wiki was welcome to, they just had to email me. I think that's probably the nicest thing to do at this point if you want to delete a wiki.
