YackPack Stopped Working
I have several PB wikis and none of the YackPacks are working on any of them. Please help!

I spoke to the founder of YackPack. Their service has been down for a number of days. They are working on restoring it, but we've removed the YackPack plugin from PBwiki and are working on finding another service for voice chat. With all the urgent work on PBwiki 2.0, this isn't something that's likely to happen tomorrow, but I wanted to keep you updated. As I know more, I'll post it here.

Inappropriate?Update: I checked with the YackPack team. They're migrating servers and it looks like there's been a slight delay. The service will be back up, but it will take at least 24 hours.

That announcement has been up since last fall and we've been working with someone over there but never have heard back on what our costs will be.
I think the current problem is more than just having to pay for a subscription--the login page has a "yackpack is undergoing maintenance" message, so even if you've paid you can't log in. Emails to any address on the website are returned as undeliverable. I'm guessing that the changeover to subscription service has caused some kind of meltdown, way too many things to integrate and some tiny little bug caused the whole thing to implode.
I can really sympathize with the yackpack folks, but I'd just like to have something concrete to tell our teachers. Right now we have them using Audacity and Skype, but they and the kids really love their yackpack and want it back soon. :)

Now that you say it has been removed ... in my test page sidebar (http://wai2wai4u.pbwiki.com/) there is a "live looking" YackPack icon .. which could not be seen earlier on ..
