A number of issues - 07 November 2008 - Urgent please

URGENT - I have a number of issues, most of which I would consider urgent and would appreciate your earliest attention:

1. Images - Uploaded images can be seen by me (administrator) but not by readers or writers, although they can see all text. Explorer shows white box/red cross, Firefox shows nothing at all.

2. Time Setting - When I try to change it, it seems to 'default' back to exactly 12 hours ago & also brings up an error message of my description (on settings page).

3. Very slow indeed for my writers. When they SAVE, having edited, it takes one minute before updating or showing any response at all.

4. When writers log out, it shows that that writer is still editing when a 'new' writer is viewing/editing. Clearly the original writer was not because they had logged out a long time before.

5. Trying to make one of my folders public but it won't update. Just goes back to 'custom' when I save.

6. When I add users to 'custom security' & save, the new additions are not saved/stored.

7. My writers who I have given permission as writer to, get a message on right: 'You don't have permission to change this pages folder'.

8. One (and probably others) of my writers gets sent to an error page having edited & saved.

9. There are a number of other issues but right now I don't have time to list them all .......

Your earliest attention to the above would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm sorry SEO, I can't promise you a quick response here. It's always best to report problems using the Help link at the top of your wiki pages. Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and contact support. We'll usually answer you within a hour or so.

    1. Images and pages are best shared with your users by placing them in a folder. Be sure to check the security settings of the folders so that you are sharing the folder with only those you wish. If you place the images in the same folder as the page they are on, you should be able to avoid this problem. In general, if you have not filed an image or other file, only you can see them because we don't want you to share files unintentionally with those you don't wish to explicitly.

Thanks for reporting the rest of the issues you detailed. You'll have to contact us directly for more help with them. We'll need info from you that we can't ask for here in public.
