Can I create top level and sub level pages?
I'd like to organize my wiki content into categories and sub-categories for easy archiving and retrieval of related information. I'm using it to write a book and I want to keep similar information together and be able to quickly see all entries or pages for a specific topic.
Ok, I've done some more reading and I see that your 2.0 version will have folders, which is exactly what I need.
When will this version be released? I signed up for a "golden ticket."

Inappropriate? This is basically what I've been roaming around looking for... I was stressing out about how to categorize everything. How do you sign up to get in the beta?

Inappropriate?Well, you can always manually create a heirarchy - I have my school stuff wiki that I have links to pages for my Bio class, random ideas and important school information, and then on the Bio Class page, I have links to the page where I keep the research I'm doing on my paper, the page with my grades so far, and the pages where I keep my notes. I agree that the folders are going to be awesome and a huuuge help (I take a LOT of notes!), but in the meantime, it's also a good habit to get into where you have all your pages link to each other - that means you won't have to go looking for all your little orphaned pages down the road. Tagging your pages is also a good habit, especially if, like me, you aren't very good at remembering to link your pages together.
If you've signed up for a golden ticket, you will receive one the next time we send out a batch. If you haven't, then go to the PBwiki Blog (blog.pbwiki.com) and sign up for one in the email field provided at the end of several of our posts about Version 2.0.
We're scrambling to release it soon, but don't want to promise any dates, as we find little but important bugs all the time. We want this thing to be as close to perfect as we can get it :)
I’m getting better grades because of PBwiki!

Inappropriate? Two things that I have tried that both work are creating page names that inherently reflect a hierarchy, or creating tags that reflect a hierarchy. Thus, I could name some pages:
Personal-Contacts
Personal-ToDoList
Personal-WishList
or I could do the same thing with tags. Manually creating some page that is an index is also a pretty good practice anyway, because it allows you to organize data AND leave a description of it.
Hope that helps!
