Can't get rid of saved login name and password on login screen!
The username and password that I've been using is popping up by default on my log in page. I've tried clicking "log out completely" and I've deleted all my pbwiki cookies and I can't get rid of it. The checkmark for "remember me" is clicked by default, I believe.
How do I get rid of any username/password history so that if a student sits down an a computer (including mine!) they can't just click to log on as another student?
Is there any way to remove the whole option of "remember me" for computer labs. It's a terrible option for a public computer. And it should not be ticked off by default. Many of my students would totally ignore it.
I think that this is also messing up my ability to log in under different names/passwords. I have a few alternates and when I try to log in, I have to first delete the information that's already there (name, password) and then it doesn't seem to recognize other accounts that have been approved and have account profiles, unless I change the password (which I know 100% is the right one).

Inappropriate?Hi Shayne,
Try clearing our cookies, and then doing a hard refresh on your browser (hold down shift while clicking refresh). Does this clear the saved text? -
Hey Rachel. I'd already cleared cookies. I didn't know about a hard refresh (handy to know). I think that my problem was my Firefox form history per Clif's comment below. Good to get this resolved at home. -
Inappropriate? The name and email address that are seeing may be there because of a feature called AutoComplete in Internet Explorer. You will have to change some settings in your Internet Explorer options to keep that from displaying. Firefox browser has a similar feature that does the same thing.
See these article that explains what you can do.

Inappropriate? The Firefox article may be out of date. I have the latest version and it's different from the one described, however it was pretty intuitive and I cleared my form settings and all is well.
My only worry is that I'm going to have trouble with a whole computer lab full of computers and students who will be entering data.
That "remember me" under the log in still bothers me as a default.
Thanks for the solution, Clif.
I’m happier about the log in, but we'll see about my computer lab.
