Embed code from TechSmith's Screencast.com typically doesn't work!
Embed code from TechSmith's Screencast.com (for Camtasia Studio or Jing produced screencasts) often doesn't work when pasted into YouTube video plugin.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I've embedded a lot of sets of embed code taken from Screencast.com successfully in PBwiki pages using the YouTube video plugin but lately it doesn't work as in when I click the Preview button after pasting in embed code nothing happens.
I'd really like to see this work reliably as I work with lots of teachers and students and having them share their screencasts (mathcasts in particular) is critically important.

Hi Rachel, I gave this a try but it didn't work either but thanks so much for suggesting it. HOWEVER, a friend of mine discovered last night a workaround that DOES always seem to work: Basically if you copy the embed code between the tags including these tags and paste it into the PBWiki YouTube video plugin then it works fine.
I actually created a PBWiki page which describes the problem, our workaround, and 2 potential solutions (one which PBWiki developers might be able to do and one that TechSmith-Screencast.com developers might be able to do). It's here: http://math247.pbwiki.com/sc-embed-code
So could you ask the developers at PBWiki if they can do things on their end? I'll also ask my friends at TechSmith about this or could I maybe suggest one of your developers talk with the project manager at Screencast.com? Thanks. Tim
