external links open in new window
It would be nice if the wikistyle for links is able to determine if the link is an internal or external link, and then automatically make external links open in a new window. This is standard usability best practice for links.
Yes, I know you can add the target="_blank" attribute and value within an <a> tag. I find it much cleaner maintaining pages without having to resort to HTML.

Inappropriate? That's a good suggestion. I'm also glad to see someone else out there who likes using wikistyle!
I’m happy

Inappropriate? Also, we are about to adopt the standard of including a glyph (icon) to tell the user that it is an external link.
JAC.
I’m hip hop happy (as my 3 year old says)

Inappropriate? It would be nice in the box where you specify the type of link if you could just check an "open in new window" option. It's a lot of work doing every link through plugin or editing the source code.
I’m tired because I am adding target="blank" to all my links

Inappropriate? When you create a link that has an external URL, a new tab appears above in the box allowing you to specify opening in a new window. Hurray! (Although if we were following this topic shouldn't we have received a notification? Hm..
I’m thankful
