Do you put links on your blogs/Myspace/Facebook/etc? Do you use search engine optimization? Do you hand out Moo cards, or shout out your url from the rooftops?

Inappropriate?For me, PBwiki was a great fit for my weekly newsletter about free software. I already had a few hundred subscribers when I came here about two years ago. Since then, it's grown to about 2500 or so and the wiki has a Google Rank of 5.
I can only attribute the the growth to 2 things I've done.
1. Participate in groups that share a common interest in the main topics that my wiki covers.
2. Provide unique content and keep adding more when possible.
