I've seen sites like SocialText and JotSpot, Zoho Wiki, Wikidot -- what makes PBWiki different/special?

Lane, I'm in the same boat as you. Start by visiting http://www.wikimatrix.org to narrow your choices by needs, then you'll have to just do the typical trial run with your real-world content.
Anyone actual experienced users out there?? (Who doesn't work/develop for a wiki solution...)

A blogger, The Product Guy, actually spent a few weeks comparing several wikis, and has a great post about the pros and cons of each (including PBwiki). At the end of it, even with our flaws, he still thinks we're the best.
