How to create folders *without* moving pages?
How can I create a folder without putting the current page into it? The only facility for creating a new folder seems to be the "Put this page in a folder" or "Put this page in a different folder" links. What if I want to create folders ahead of time, without putting the current page (e.g., the FrontPage) into them?

Inappropriate?Hello!
On the right panel of your wiki there's a folders section. Just click the "Create a Folder" link at the bottom of this section to create a new folder. -
Inappropriate? In the Folders section of the right bar, all I see is the one test folder I created; there is no "Create a Folder" link in that section.

Inappropriate?Hi Elness,
What access level do you have on this wiki? Is it one of your own? Are you logged in?

Inappropriate?Rachel,
It's my own wiki, but I was editing it through an Editor user I had set up, and not the Administrator user. When I logged in as the Administrator user, the "Create a Folder" link was indeed there in the Folders section -- thanks for your help!
Although that does bring to mind the question of why an Editor can create a new folder for the current page and put the current page into it, but not create a new folder outright.
Nonetheless, my question is answered. Thanks again!
I’m happy

Inappropriate? That's a good question - I'll bring it up to our engineers!
