I want to embed a file icon on the wiki page.
How to I embed a file on my wiki page? I know how to upload a file and link to a file--but what to embed the file and get the file icon on the page.

Inappropriate?Hello!
In edit mode, take a look on the right side of your screen. Click the "Images and Files" tab. If your file in this list has an icon associated with it, the file and it's icon will appear on your wiki page. Just click the file name to insert it into your wiki page.
I hope this helps! -
Inappropriate?Hi Rachel, I'm using version 2. But i don't see the file icon when I tried the method you recommended. The icons are cool. Did I do anything wrong?
I’m unsure

Hi Domo, in most cases you can't embed the file itself on a wiki page without using a plugin - you can only link to them. What sort of file is this? -
Inappropriate?Hi Rachel, well I have a microsoft word file. I edit my wiki page, and use the window on the right hand side to Insert Link > Files & Images. I click on the doc file and it inserts a hyperlink on my wiki page. However, i don't see a doc icon on the left hand side of that link. I've seen this on other pbwiki sites before. (Sorry, it's not embedding the file)

Hi Domo, I checked in with our engineering team, and they said this is a bug (the missing icon). They have this on their to-do list to fix, and it should be fixed soon!
