Links to new wiki pages are not differentiated
When I create a link to a new page and save my edits, there is nothing notable about the new link.
Because this link has no content, it should be flagged in some easy to recognize way. In fact, there is text somewhere that actually describes it as differentiated...

Inappropriate?Hi Clay,
I'm checking into that now. I believe the link should get a red-dashed underline to identify it as a page that has not been created yet.
I see that this works in our older wikis, but currently is not displaying in the new 2.0 wikis.
I'm sorry for any headaches and I'll get back to you with an answer.
I’m hoping this helps

Inappropriate?Hey there, just wondering if there has been any progress on this front. It's kinda driving me and the rest of the people on our wiki crazy...
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Clay,
This can be really annoying... there are also problems with 1.0 wikis above a certain size (at least with internet explorer) not displaying the red underline...
You can use a tool like this:

to create lists of broken links, even if they aren't called out visually on your wiki.

Inappropriate?Been a quite a few months now, so I've been wondering about the status of this problem.
With wikis being automatically migrated to 2.0 on March 9th, I went ahead and upgraded my wiki to 2.0 so I could get a head start on cleaning things up. However, I create quite a few links to non-existent pages as both callouts and as constant, relevant reminders about what pages I still need to work on.
And nothing makes the problem seem more urgent when a user browsing the wiki calls you out on it, complete with a sad face.
So... uhh... any update? Or even a "we're still trying to nail this problem, but right now we're trying to ensure that wikis don't catastrophically break with the version rollover?"
I’m anxious and concerned.

Inappropriate?Hello RoyalKnight
I've checked the way our links display and there are still no identifiers to distinguish an uncreated page from a finished page.
I cannot promise that this will be taken care of soon. I do see that we have it on our to-do list.
I'm sorry this is taking a long time.

Inappropriate?Hi, we really liked the broken link feature in V1, even if it was a little temperamental. So to this end, not having it is a real pain in V2. My users are saying it is becoming a paper exercise to work out what they have to do to finish a page with lots of links. Paper - Ouch!
I’m killing trees!

Inappropriate?Hi Jack, the status on this has not changed. Someone here will update this thread if and when we make any change to the way new page links display.
