PBwiki as a note manager
Is PBwiki a good idea for keeping your personal notes in? Currently. I'm using SpringNote which is note-taking oriented. I wondering if PBwiki is a good alternative to that or should I stick with SpringNote as my online note taking application of choice? Would PBwiki v2 be better oriented for this?

Inappropriate?I'm not too familar with SpingNote, but I do use my wiki to keep track of all my notes. I used it in school to take notes in class, and I use it today to track notes of books I'm reading, my grocery list, etc. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Inappropriate?I haven't signed up just yet, I'd like to as two more questions. Is there a setting to have all new pages private by default? Also, is there some type of 'wysiwyg' editor (but not fully). What I mean is that some editors I've used don't actually have bold text, but when it recognizes a list (i.e. a series of lines with whitespace and then a * then the actual text) it would change those *'s to a bulleted list. 'Smart' editing is what it could be considered. If you don't have that, do you at least of Markdown/Textile support?
I’m hopeful that PBwiki may just be the best choice

Inappropriate?Hi Colin- absolutely. When you create your wiki, you can set it to be private or public wikiwide.
The PBwiki interface is a WYSIWYG editor. You can also go into the source code and edit directly there. -
Inappropriate?Anytime! Once you sign up, let me know what you think. We're happy to answer any questions you have :)

Inappropriate?if are you using Springnote for your note taking, why would you even consider using PBWiki as an alternative? For note taking, I choose Springnote.
