Private RSS for a 2.0 beta pbwiki
Hi ! I am the administrator of a 2.0 beta pwiki dedicated to history searchers working on a specific project (wich is going to last 5 years). This PB wiki is private because informations are confidential.
My problem is that those searchers are not all computer-friendly : the access to the new information published on the wiki has to be easy. RSS can be useful for that but will the wiki stay private ? In other words, is it possible for me to create RSS for the entire wiki but only for the members?
(Another question: I know that this function is not available right now on pbwiki 2.0 beta : is it going to be available?)
Thanks a lot !

Inappropriate?Hi,
Private RSS is available right now. The URL is constructed like so:
http://[ACCOUNT]:[PASSWORD]@[WIKINAME].pbwiki.com/rss2.php
[ACCOUNT] = Your PBwiki account. Since it is an email address, you have to escape the @ sign, so if your email is "anon@email.com" then you would type in "anon%40email.com" (no quotes)
[PASSWORD] = Your PBwiki account password
[WIKINAME] = The name of your wiki
This is available to any user of your wiki, so they would enter their own information. They of course need to keep that address secure, because it contains their login information.
Hope that helps!

Inappropriate? It has helped, except that this option now is not available : have we to pay for that ?
