RSS feed on private wikis - invalid security certificate
We are using a custom domain for our private wiki. When you try and subscribe to the RSS feed, you get a "secure connection failed" error in FF3. It says the site uses an invalid security certificate with error code ssl_error_bad_cert_domain. Any ideas?
This may be related to another issue we're having where you get a domain name mismatch error when you access the site using the custom domain.
Is the invalid security certificate on our end or something we can fix via PBwiki settings?
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Hi Scott- what RSS reader are you using?
-
Inappropriate? Most RSS feeds don't accept authenticated (private) feeds, so this might be the cause of this problem. I also think the the domain issue is another cause, we're looking into this for you!

Inappropriate?Have you tried the PBwiki.com feed link?
Even a wiki with a custom domain still has a PBwiki.com address. Go there, try adding the feed from the pbwiki page instead of your domain. The may eliminate the security issue.

Inappropriate?Hi Cliff,
Our wiki is now public and we're still experiencing the feed problem.
If you try and subscribe to https://usercontribution.intuit.com/r... you will see the error.
We're using the custom domain of usercontribution.intuit.com to point to usercontribution.pbwiki.com. I noticed that the https://usercontribution.pbwiki.com/r... feed works (note the pbwiki in the URL). Is there a way to have the usercontribution.intuit.com URL feed work or as a work around change the feed URL to use pbwiki?
Thanks! -
Inappropriate? We may not be able to provide an easy fix for that yet. I'll post a notice to engineering.
I can only promise that the pbwiki feed will work.
Try posting a manual link to the pbwiki.com feed on your wiki as a work-around for those who really want a feed.
