RSS feeds for specific pages on a paid wiki?
I just can't get an RSS feed for a specific page to work (in any aggregator). I'm using a private (paid) wiki, which has an https rather than an http address. The feed url for the 'whole' wiki has a long tacked-on parameter (a=3bc<snip>f93) which obvious provides some authentification role but there doesn't appear to be any way to 'attach' the requisite parameter for the requested page (e.g. page=FrontPage). If I place this immediately after the ? after /rss2.php (e.g. .../rss2.php?page=FrontPage&a=3bc...) then I get an 'access denied' response or a username/password dialog thrown up and if I put it after the 'code' then it just get's ignored.</snip>

Inappropriate?Hi Tejud,
My private feeds are still working quite fine. I also noticed that my feeds are HTTP and not HTTPS. However, I have not tried to get a feed for only a single page as you are trying.
1. Try simply right clicking on the RSS orange icon in the bottom right corner and giving that to your feed aggregator.
Is it http or https?
2. Try moving the call for a single page to the very end.
Example:
pbwiki.com/rss2.php?a=8985882355e4a50bab9cc34acf9fc5bca9208251&page=FrontPage

Inappropriate?Hi Clif - my site is HTTPS, which is still causing problems when subscribing to individual page feeds (I can get these to work in Sage for example, but only if I log into the wiki first). Adding the page ref to the end of the url seems to work for me today (but hasn't in the past). I guess we'll just have to let students try the feeds and see how they go. If they're using browser-based aggregators and they're not routinely rejecting or clearing out cookies then they may be OK, if not then their mileage may vary.
