SideBar not visible after migrating
After migrating to the new PBwiki, my SideBar is no longer visible - bummer! It used to show up by default in the old system. The page is, of course, still there. This is my wiki:

Inappropriate?Hi Niilo,
It looks like you've got a "status indicator" code that's interfering with your wiki's normal functioning. Please go to http://dvis.pbwiki.com/SideBar and remove that code--this should restore your SideBar and Right Panel elements.
Afterwards, you may be able to re-insert the code, but please use the HTML/Javascript plugin to do so.

Inappropriate?Hi Adam, you're right - had forgotten about the code that made the SideBar show up by default (it worked great earlier!).
I deleted the code from SideBar but still don't seem to get the SideBar and the panel elements back. -
Inappropriate?Hi Niilo,
I'm glad to hear that you removed some code from your SideBar page, but it looks like the status indicator code is still there. It contains the text "Chat with Niilo ...". Please try removing this code and see if it makes a difference for you.

Inappropriate?Okay, now I seem to be back in business, many thanks!
Another thing connected to this: I would like my SideBar to be more in focus for the visitors so I'd like to hide the Navigator pane. It should be somewhere in the settings but can't figure out how to do it - missing something obvious, perhaps. What's the trick to hide the Navigator? -
Inappropriate?Hi Niilo
You can re-order the display of the modules by clicking on the title bar for each module and dragging it to the position in the Side Panel where you want it at.
I recommend that you drag the SideBar module to the top of the Side Panel to make it more visible.
Only premium wikis can remove Side Panel modules.
I hope this helps ...

Inappropriate?Neat with drag-and-drop and it works fine for me, while I'm logged in, but apparently the change does not apply to the visitors to my wiki? It seems the modules are shown in the original order when I take a look at my wiki without logging in, using another computer.
Do I have to buy a premium wiki to make the change "stick"? -
Inappropriate?I don't believe that a premium wiki would act any differently with the drap and drop modules on the Side Panel.
An upgrade to premium will, however, allow you to hide modules, so that nobody can see them.
-
Inappropriate?Ok. I'd just like to have the SideBar on top as default - found a script through the forum before the makeover and it worked fine. Hopefully there will be something similar for the new GUI as well.

Inappropriate?Just noticed there is another thread on this issue, focusing on Navigator instead of SideBar. Apparently I'm not the only one with the same problem:

I'll continue to follow the discussion there. -
Inappropriate?Hi Niilo,
We can really only support the ability to hide modules for premium wikis.
As far as I know, there are no third party scripts for PBwiki 2.0. If you do happen to find someone who's created a script that does what you want, you are more than welcome to share it here.
I'm sorry we haven't been able to get you exactly what you want this time.
