Strikeouts disappear. Help.
Greetings!
As part of my wiki, I cut proposals from a Word document and paste the information into a blank wiki page. Most of the existing formatting works in the new wiki page except strikeouts. The strikeouts come across as the font without the strikeout. Is there anyway to cut and paste Word documents so that the strikeouts show up in the new page?
I've tried saving the Word document as a Wordpad document first and cutting and pasting from the text file but the strikeouts also disappear (i.e., the words are there but the strikeout itself doesn't show).
Any help would be appreciated.

Inappropriate?Hi Steve,
If you want to copy content from a web page or a Word document, you should paste it into a plain text editor such as Notepad. Once in Notepad, copy it from there and paste it into your wiki page. This removes the unique web page or Word formatting that sometimes causes problems in a wiki.

Inappropriate?Clif,
thanks for your reply but unfortunately this doesn't solve the problem. The dilemma is that I need the formatting (strikethroughs) to show in the wiki when I paste the text that I copied from the Word document. The people editing the wiki need to see the original changes that were on the Word document and those changes are indicated by strike throughs and underlining.
When I copy the text (with strike throughs) from Word and paste the text into Notepad, the strike throughs disappear in the Notepad. -
Inappropriate?Once you have added the plain text to the wiki using the Notepad copy method, you will have to reformat the text to appear as you wish it to look.
We do allow you to apply strike-through to text. (see image)
