There should be an officially sanctioned way to redirect pages.
David Weekly proposed using a meta-refresh tag to redirect wiki pages. PBWiki 2.0 strips out such meta tags meaning that this method no longer works.
It would be extremely useful, especially for migrating wikis, to enable redirecting wiki pages to either new pages or folders.

Inappropriate?Another approach might be an option to have a particular wiki mimic MediaWiki's URL scheme, which as far as I can tell just involves using underscores for spaces instead of dashes. (Only helps from-MediaWiki migrators, but that's got to be most of them right?)
I’m frustrated

That gets us part of the way there, but it would still be nice to be able to redirect misnamed or obsolete pages.
Being able to set a preference on underscores in URLs vs hyphens is another good request, but perhaps better in a separate request. -
Inappropriate? There is a better technique than the meta to redirect a Web page. Meta breaks the back button. HTTP redirects give a nice elegant solution for it. See http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/reback.html

Inappropriate?Hi Chris,
I'm sorry for the frustration. I've posted a feature request explaining what you want. I can't promise when or if this will get adopted.

Thanks Clif.
