As a personal project, I'm investigating ways to use PBwiki to start an online store.

We use 1shoppingcart.com, part of netofficetoolbox.com.
It let's you define your products or shopping cart items and generates the html that you can plug into any web site.
The html includes the links to payment processing and transaction history, including enrolling the purchaser in autoresponder sequences if needed.
It saves a tremendous amount of time in re-creating the entire e-commerce process.
I have not attempted to put a shopping cart item from netofficetoolbox on any of our wikis, but will do so and let you know the outcome, this week.

Another product I will begin using in the near future is aMember Pro, a member subscription management program. It handles many of the issues connected to security and control of distribution of products sold online and through downloads.
