Warning: unresponsive script
One page of my wiki (just one) is causing me lots of problems...
When I try to edit it I can make whatever changes I need BUT when I go to "save", "cancel" or "source" I cannot save my data properly and get a "Warning: unresponsive script" box pop up giving me the option to "fix", "debug" or "continue". None of these works....
Eventually I'll get the "sooo... hungry" message. In the past I've been able to refresh the page (and resend data) a few times and that's usually done the trick (this problem's been going on for a while). Today though I can't even get this to work.
The rest of my wiki is happy as larry.
It's a private wiki but the page (for official reference) is:
http://suncatest.pbwiki.com/Cambridge...
It's really frustrating as I keep losing work and I need to make a fairly urgent update to the page.
Thanks,
Nicola.

Inappropriate?Hi Nicola,
This is most likely happening (both the 'unresponsive script' and 'so hungry' messages) because of the size of the page -- I ran some checks and that page is almost half a megabyte of text. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a problem related to the size of the page causing our rendering system to run out of memory due to some inefficient code on our side - this isn't a huge amount of text all things considered but it's certainly at the upper end of what we've seen for wiki pages. We've seen fairly good performance with other pages of this size I'll see if we can find a particular element that causes this problem.
I’m curious

Inappropriate?Nathan,
Many thanks for looking into this for me. I look forward to hearing back about any element that might be causing the problem but I will, in the meantime, back up my wiki again and then look at whether there is a good way that I can split this page up into a few separate pages.
thanks,
nicola.
I’m feeling much better about my cranky wiki page
