Sign up for a PBwiki Account (http://my.pbwiki.com) using a TwitterMail address.
http://twittermail.com/
Then any wiki you join using that account would get emailed notifications that get posted to twitter.
Possible problems:
May have trouble validating the twittermail address
The account password resets would be posted to twitter in public. Not good.
Seanmac's idea may work better.
