What computer/browser problem would cause the editing tools to disappear?
I have a student who is using our class wiki (2.0 pbwiki), and when she tries to edit a page, it gives her a page error.
I can see that she's logged in and editing.
It does not show the toolbar or any text in the edit box. She is using a dell desktop with Internet Explorer installed as her browser.
She can use her laptop withour any problems. What could be missing - software? plugins? on her desktop?
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It's possible that she has Javascript turned off, maybe with some really high security settings. If she has Javascript turned on, then she should first try going into her security settings and allowing an exception for "pbwiki.com".
Alternately, she might want to download Firefox for her desktop, which typically doesn't have these same issues.
