Why does video upload plugin fail after a few mbs upload?
I am trying to add an AVI video to the wiki. it is quite big, 400mb. However, after the first 4mb or so, the connection stops communicating. I use a little upload/download monitor so that's how I can tell, even though the screen says "uploading video" or whatever.
Isn't there a better way of uploading videos? I have no problem uploading and downloading big files over ftp, html, etc. ordinarily.
This is a business-critical video that needs to get out there to our partners so your help would be appreciated.

Inappropriate?Hi Richard,
the third party we use to host videos, fliqz, allows up to 300mb per video, so that may be part of the problem.
Also, uploading large files over http is generally not the most efficient way of doing things, and if you don't have a good internet connection, the process can fail.
I recommend looking into Google Video, or other similar services, to see if that would be a better fit for your video.
Best of luck!
