Why equations are not displayed on portfolios?
Why does equations does not save on the portfolio? is there a way around it? If I get an upgrade for the wiki, does the zip backup stores equations too?

Inappropriate?Hi,
We're working on better ways to export to PDF, but for now, portfolios do not handle equations.
As for zip backups, they work best as simply that: backups of the data in case something happens, not as an adequate method of viewing the wiki.

Inappropriate?I'm getting confused. Is the backup "not as an adequate method of viewing the wiki" or will it "allow you to read your wiki offline"?
I’m not sure which is correct.

Inappropriate? In both cases, I'm trying to give users the best options based on what is currently built. As a perfect method of offline viewing ISN'T currently built, then I have to use my judgement in whether or not something can help them. In this cases, since equations seemed important, the backup is not adequate. However, I've used backups for myself in that capacity, and while not great, they were adequate.
I don't think it's reasonable to try to make these situations black and white. -
Inappropriate? But last time I checked equations are not stored on the zip, as they are embedded objects. Therefore for scientific wikis its utility is greatly reduced, since equations make up for most of the information (maybe upt to 70%). That is why I asked if now the zip feature stores equations
I’m still frustrated

Inappropriate?I'm sorry, I have filed a feature request to make equations viewable in some offline capacity (ticket id #575).
