Inappropriate? Are you trying to paste in content that you copied from a Word document or a web page?
If so, you may have to erase anything you already have in that page and start fresh. Sometimes when you paste from Word or the web, you end up pasting in some unusual HTML formatting that our wiki editor doesn't handle very well.
When you need to add content from Word or the web try this.
1. Paste into a Notepad (plain text editor)
2. Copy everything in the Notepad
3. Paste into your wiki page.
That will remove all the formatting. If you want to re-format the content you pasted into the wiki, you should always use our formatting tools on the editing tool bar.

Inappropriate?Sorta the same prob: I have just pasted in a bunch of text from a text editor [i.e. no formatting] into a completely new page. After saving, I can't see anything on the page except the title. I'm using Firefox on an intel mac, if that has anything to do with it.

Inappropriate?Hi Kathe,
Is the page public? Did you edit the Source code for any reason?

Inappropriate?Nope, private. Nope, I just had a bunch of text in Bean, and copied and pasted it onto a page. I just started my wiki, pretty much specifically to have that text on a page where I could access it from any computer. I haven't done much except to make a new page and paste that text on there.

Inappropriate?Hi Kathe,
I'm guessing PBwiki didn't like the formatting from "Bean". Can you tell me what this Bean thing is?
It's best to make sure your text is "clean" from formatting before you place it in a wiki page. Once it's in the page you can format it using the editor tools at the top of the page.
To clean up text from a web site or from an word processor, you can try to following.
1. Paste the text from the app or web page into a Notepad (plain text editor).
2. Copy the plain text in Notepad and then paste it into your wiki.
If you go back to your page that isn't working, you can try removing everything there and using the clean method to paste in the text.
That should solve your problem.
