That is not the problem. The problem is with the API and how Twitter caches it. We are whitelisted on several accounts and never reach our API limits.

Fortunately Twitter announced that they will update the API today(!) and that this update will completely fix everything. Would be a great relief as most people assumed the problem of not updating counts was probably TwitterCounter's error.

I'm assuming you are using the embed code for just the number? We show that in a DIV. You can make it float:left via CSS. it is all explained on the Buttons page: http://twittercounter.com/pages/buttons/

Yes that is a bug at Twitter that prevents us from getting certain follower counts. Should be fixed soon.

All the data at TwitterCounter comes from Twitter. Change your avatar there and we will pick it up at the next update.
