mitten asked a question in Twitter on September 17, 2009 19:45:
How do I change SMS/IM settings per individual follower?I used to be able to set text messages on or off per person by clicking on the 'Following' area just under their name on their profile page and changing the device settings. Is this feature gone? Has it been moved? If it's gone, is it coming back?-

I popped over to the site today, to see whether it was true that instead of doing reporting, annarbor.com simply publishes official letters verbatim, and noticed that the comment paragraph spacing is *still* not corrected.
I also noticed that when you scroll to the bottom of an article and then log in to make a comment, you are returned to the top of the page and have to scroll down again to actually comment. It seems a bit silly to point it out, since there seems to be no chance of it being corrected, but there you have it.
A comment on the question "It *almost* works on Snow Leopard" in Dockland Software:
You know, after using it this way for a week, I kind of like the disappearing icons, too. – mitten, on September 06, 2009 18:18

It *almost* works on Snow LeopardHi there! Just wanted to let you know that I just upgraded to Snow Leopard and SpaceSuit mostly works on it: the images show for each space, but on changing spaces, all the desktop icons disappear. Clicking on the desktop restores them. Hopefully it'll just be a little tweak that's needed to fix it, because it's one of my favorite little apps!
mitten asked a question in typekit on August 20, 2009 14:04:
Personal vs. Commercial?I don't see any indication that I can't use a 'Personal' level account on a commercial site. Is that correct? Because that would seem to be the correct level for my smallish clients (I'm assuming that I would set up separate accounts for each client, so that they are paying for the font licensing yearly, not me).
Suggestion: change Personal to 'Individual' or to 'Single', perhaps? for clarity?

Exotic or Display?Under 'Style', you have Serif, San Serif, Script and Exotic. To my mind, the more correct term is 'Display' not 'Exotic'. It's just a stylistic issue, but it might be less confusing for us old timers used to more standard terms.

I wondered about the www.example.com and example.com and whether we need to enter both, too. (And I ran into the validation error as well.)-

I tried phoning. I clicked 0 to speak to an operator, was put on hold with some nice baroque music, then the phone started to ring. And ring and ring and ring. Eventually, a voice came on saying I had reached the Jackson Register asking me to hold. That didn't seem right so I hung up.
I don't have a subscription and I never have. So I have no idea why these bags keep appearing on my driveway now.
I don't know what's in the bag, whether it's a 'paper' or only advertisements or what. I throw it out without looking at it. (If it helps you identify, it came in a blue plastic bag, and said AnnArbor.com at the top of the 'paper'.)
I was looking at the City Code, and it's not clear to me whether throwing a newspaper on my driveway (without my permission) is litter or not. I was looking at Chapter 82 LITTER AND HANDBILLS, section 7:92 and 7:97. Do you know if they apply to 'newspapers' on private property?

How can I opt out of 'home delivery'?I don't want 'AnnArbor.Com' thrown on my driveway. I didn't subscribe to it, I didn't ask for it, I don't read it and it just makes work for me to have to go and throw it away. Plus, it's not very environmentally friendly!

When is the artwork going to be taken down or changed? The artwork has been up for a while now, and I'd love to see it go away. I would very much prefer plain walls in the work areas, but even something different would be an improvement.
Any timeline for this?

mitten reported a problem in MyBlogLog on July 29, 2008 13:44:
New Profile Layout Is Not Stat-FriendlyThe new profile layout is annoying. I come to MyBlogLog to see the stats on my site, but now I have to scroll down to see them (the recently added 'recent visitors' block bumps them down). Can you make that block optional or turn-off-able or movable or something?-
