Preference to "Show All in Conversation" by defaultWhen I open a conversation, all the messages in the conversation appear, but they're all closed/grayed out. I'd like to see a preference that expands them by default when I view a message. Having the auto-gather function is great, but now I still have to click a button to get my conversation view.

Open to auto-gather conversationsI would like to always view messages as conversations, and also to have updates while in conversation view (e.g. archive, tag, etc.) to apply to every message therein.
The save responses in the same folder options in great, but having tagging and everything else apply universally and automatically would be awesome.

Whether it's "Sent Later" or "Sent Now," there's no reason to block the UI while the client talks to the server. Pop up a notification if it fails, but otherwise, let it ride.
One option would just be to put everything in "Send Later" by default and schedule the sends. It's a rather 1995 way to deal with email, but it works. Then make CMD+SHIFT+ENTER send immediately (and block the UI).-

Handcuffed when viewing messages in their own tab/windowI would like to be able to act on messages while viewing them in their own tab or window. When I'm viewing a message (or conversation) in its own tab, I lose the ability to archive or mark the messages. That'd be really nice. Likewise, being able to mark a message as "pending"

There's lots of reasons to leverage the built-in Address Book. Firstly, it integrates with lots of other applications. So, yes, every time you right click on a contact to add them, that contact becomes solely available in Postbox. Secondly, it syncs between computers, to Palms, Smartphones and iWhatevers. By putting contact information into Postbox, you're putting it into a "gulag" that's inaccessible by anything else.

Is there a my.foxmarks bookmarklet I could use on my iPhone? Is there a javascript bookmarklet for adding new bookmarks to my.foxmarks?
I use Firefox for my browsing, but I'd like to be able to add bookmarks to view later when I'm on my iPhone in Mobile Safari.
And yes, I know there's going to be Foxmarks for Safari, but then the bookmarks would be in Safari and sync from there... just seems overly complicated.
Nik asked a question in ExpanDrive on September 16, 2008 14:27:
Can I use backup software with my SFTP drive?I'm looking for a way to back up encrypted rolling archives to an SFTP server. Is ExpanDrive fast enough to use, say, Prosoft Data Backup, or does its caching limit its effectiveness? (By, say, syncing my whole backup to my Mac every time I mount the drive)-
