On a daily basis, my users are only interested in specific areas of the wiki. They need to be notified of changes, but if they're told of every change, they'll turn the notifications off and the wiki won't be as effective. Filtering is a bit too complex for my non-savvy users. I chose pbwiki because it's the most user friendly wiki I found, but this is a big outage. Please add my name to the list of people wanting page level notifications.

A comment on the question "Page-Specific Notifications" in PBwiki:

My point was that you can't just filter out messages for a given page with the new notifications. That wouldn't be necessary with page-level notifications anyway. – Guy Fawkes, on April 30, 2008 22:09

This sounds great, now just let me add custom RSS feeds into my lifestream too so that I can add my blog, viddyou, etc as needed and then regurgitate all this out onto my blog site - and do it fast or else I'll beat you with a custom WordPress Lifestream plugin (the current options are too restrictive).

A great idea, and we totally agree. We are currently working on our API, and these RSS feeds will for sure be a part of it.

Is it possible to filter your lifestream to just be your personal activity and then access that via an RSS feed? I'd love to replicate the lifestream concept on my blog and am currently redoing this all on my own as a WordPress plugin (don't like the existing ones) - but it would save a ton of time to use a better service at grabbing all my data, and then just using that feed to populate my data for my blog....

PS - This concept would really require the ability to add _any_ RSS feed to your lifestream to support self-hosted blog sites, lesser known social sites/video sites/etc.
