Hi,
Thanks for your email. The with friends feed is temporarily disabled which also effects the badge. You're still able to open the feed if authentication is supported in your reader, but in the case of an embedded badge this can't be done. Fred, it's been very helpful for some of my Basecamp project teams to be able post private Flash audio from Hipcast and Blip.tv. These are audios of captured conference calls and other content that are not to be made public yet are important for discussions. Embedded Flash is so convenient vs expecting people to rassle with misc players like Quicktime or Windows Media or Real Player.
It's also been helpful at times to embed some YouTube video to dicuss with a team, as well as Slideshare powerpoints and Picasa slideshows.
