How do I get my email to auto-check on my iPhone?I've already set it to do so, but it only checks my messages when I access my email.
one_with_the_gun replied on July 06, 2007 17:04 to the question "If something happens to my iPhone, what I am supposed to do while it’s being repaired?" in Apple:
There are a few options.
1. Some AT&T phones (i.e. the Blackberry) will properly read your iPhone’s SIM card. If you have an old Blackberry laying around, it might be a good idea to hold onto it just in case. T-Mobile phones, for example, will not read your iPhone’s SIM card.
2. You can always rent an iPhone while yours is being repaired. Apple has more information about this on their website:
http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/s...
3. You can go without a phone for awhile.

one_with_the_gun replied on July 06, 2007 16:57 to the question "How can I find out what kind of service AT&T/Cingular provides in my area?" in Apple:
Just go to this site:
http://www.wireless.att.com/coveragev...
The map shows you where there’s wireless service or you can type in your zip code. The ‘zoom’ feature on the map is really helpful, because there are some neighborhoods, even in ‘orange’ zones that don’t have any service.

What happens if you're writing a text/email and somebody calls you?On my other cell phones, my beautiful heartfelt texts and emails disappeared into a black hole whenever I got an incoming call. Is the iPhone better about this kind of thing?-

How long does it take the iPhone to charge with a car charger? What can I say? I'm on the road a lot, and I'd like to know how long it takes to fully charge the iPhone in my sexy gold Volvo Stationwagon. Does anybody know how much longer that takes as opposed to charging it in a regular outlet?

What's the easiest method for using the keyboard? The two-thumb method isn't really working for me. I'm wondering if it's easier to use one-finger-pointing method. Is there a tutorial video available?

Pictures from the premiere of iPhone at Valley Fair
The line was long.

It looped around the Clinique counter all the way down to the Wig Store.

Trendy fashionistas with red purses and their Nintendo DS-loving husbands gawked at the scene. One guy even drove his firetruck into the mall so he could have a place to relax as he waited for the highly anticipated iPhone.

Nobody seemed interested in making any other purchases.

The line to buy the iPhone seemed long and dreary, but it moved efficiently. We were up front in less than 10 minutes.

Upon further review of the product, this young woman explained that she would be purchasing an iPhone as soon as her contract with t-mobile expires.
