http://twitter.com/andrewbaron should be banned, as should anyone who tries to sell an account. This is ludicrous and bring shame upon the community.
Edit: Selling accounts like this seems like something that would violate terms of service. I'm not going to spend time looking it up because it doesn't bother me enough to do so . . . but Twitter should be worried about the monetization of its services.

New Private Notes Not Sending Properly.Private Notes don't seem to be working properly after what appears to be an update today.
I get "Select a valid choice. That choice is not one of the available choices." every time I attempt to send a private note. Not exactly sure what the change was to the private notes functionality that is causing this to occur, but I've tried to use the private notes sending functionality just like you would with the public notes functionality. If this is wrong, let me know please. :-)

Add scrolling ("overflow:scroll;") to mobile Pownce's boxes?I, like many Powncers, have an iPhone that I like to use in public places to make myself feel special and have others go "ooh, how do you like your iPhone" (no, really, this is one of the main reasons people get iPhones, didn't you know that?). Well, now that I am getting back into Pownce after being gone for basically the same amount of time that Pownce has been open to anyone (as opposed to invite-only), I want to be even cooler and when people ask me what I'm doing on my iPhone, I can say "Powncing!" and they'll be all like "Srsly?! What's that?!"
Well, currently, the mobile Pownce app is pretty good. It has some known issues that I'm sure are going to be addressed in the next mobile Pownce update, but one that is really problematic is that on replying / posting / etc via an iPhone, you can't easily scroll up and down inside of a particular textarea box unless it is explicitly given scrollbars via the CSS "overflow-y: scroll" ("overflow-y: auto" may also work, but I don't think it does). While scrollbars take up precious mobile real estate and field of view, it would really solve a big issue: if I need to change something earlier in my reply/post, I have to either fight with the iPhone's problematic finger-guided cursor placement and hope that it will scroll up/down a line in the textarea when I flick upwards/downwards inside of the textarea OR I just have to completely rewrite what I was writing, and as you can see, I can be somewhat longwinded.
Anyways, hopefully the addition of scrollbars would be a quick and easy fix.
Love Pownce, always have, always will.

Frequent Server Connection Time Outs (i can haz moar inturweb toobz for Pownce?)Navigating the site on an internet connection that is having no problems, I receive the "Problem loading page" connection timeout message about every other page load. It doesn't really seem to matter what page that I am attempting to use, whether it be posting a note, going to my Home page, or visiting someone else's Pownce.
"The connection has timed out. The server at pownce.com is taking too long to respond."
It appears to most likely be a server load issue now that Pownce is open to everyone instead of being invite-only.
NOTE: I just returned from a brief hiatus from Pownce, so I do not know if this is a known issue or not. I looked through the current GS Problems for Pownce and did not see it, so hopefully Leah or Ariel will be able to get this looked into, as it is a debilitating problem, making it nearly impossible to use the site.

"Extra Step" means having to register and join another site instead of handling all of the bug requests, feature requests, etc in-house using the system itself. Ideally, Pownce should have their own "Feature Request" button / section / etc that is on the Pownce site.
While having someone handle the development of your "Customer Support" application, there are tons of open source applications that provide the ability to track features and bug reports, etc. For web applications and offline applications alike, I am a firm believer of centralizing and not requiring users to utilize anything but the service that they are using. For example, Pownce could have put these exact same forums but with a Pownce flavor on their website as a link on the left-hand nav. Clicking on it could automatically log you in using your Pownce user credentials and take you to their customer feedback area. That way, neither the developers or the Pownce users have to leave http://pownce.com
Essentially, my motto on things like this is: if you have to leave a website to provide feedback on how their website is doing, then there's a problem in the customer-developer communication already.

Flickr Images STILL not showing up properly for my account.Okay. I thought I had this issue figured out once before because of my privacy settings on Flickr, but I changed them to as public as you can go practically. The issue still exists. No matter how I post the Flickr image URL, it does not convert into a thumbnail for me (I've tried Firefox, IE7, the Pownce App on WinXP posting the url in every possible fashion). Please check into this and let me know why they are not converting. http://pownce.com/elagothro/notes/818... is an example note.
On a sidenote: as a Pro user, I am starting to get disappointed and annoyed by the number of bugs that Pownce continues to have and SIMPLE functionalities that have been suggested by hundreds of users in posts and on the Pownce PbWiki. I understand development takes time and that maybe only a few bug/suggestion reports have been filed, but really not having any bug report feature other than GetSatisfaction is hindering your responses, I think. It's an extra step that prevents the majority of users from trying to contact you.

I'm having a problem with Flickr images not showing up. I've linked directly to the image just like in the "example" as well. I'm getting rather frustrated by this because it was supposed to be an easy "just insert link" function, and it works for EVERYONE that I've spoke to so far in the exact same method that I used.
