I use IE6 because that's what my company uses. I also have a secret url. It looks like the same problem to me.

I've had two of our blog readers report the audio on this slidecast sounded like chipmunks. One used Firefox, the other IE, both on PCs, so far as I can tell. I cannot reproduce the issue on my Mac with Safari 3 nor FF. No problems on IE7/XP either.

Actually we just moved to a CDN last week... and some of the images have been behaving irratically since then... we still have not been able to understand fully the teething problems... we hope to stamp thi out soon..

Ok, glad your problem was solved...

Another simpler way to do this is to do image compression in the ppt stage itself... Powerpoint has an option for that... don't know about keynote but I think it must be having something as well...

I have uploaded slideshows with music and animations and have had no problems - both have played very well. I don't know what Amit meant when he said that Slideshare does not support music and animations embedded in a presentation. ????

Amit, thanks. Interestingly, the last time I went into my guest account, I actually found a 'delete' button to remove the presentation, which I hadn't been able to find before. So, I've successfully removed the presentation and it is loaded in my account.

No there is no way to do it (not as yet). You will have to upload the presentation in your account. Once that is done, let me know the guestaccount ID... we can remove it for you

No we have not withdrawn support to IE6; IE6 is used by almost 50% of our users, so there is no question of withdrawing that...

I'm actually not sure what the problem might be... this is very strange... we've never encountered this.

Can you create a new account on slideshare, upload slideshows, syn it, view it on IE6 etc . Does it work?

Can you retry? We've had temporary problems recently with uploads. But there is no change in policy... you should be able to do it as before.

If you are still facing problems, please get back with specific details, steps you took etc.

Currently we do not have a way of doing that. What you can do is to set he contact emails notifications off so that they do not come to you.
