Copy/paste from Jing into Mockups doesn't workIf I try copying an image from Jing and pasting immediately into Mockups nothing happens. How is that different from a normal copy/paste in the OS? I'm on Windows Vista.

I know you don't love Jing the way I do but any love you can spare Jing would be great. fwiw, you're right, it crashes all the time.

To be honest, I can't remember now. I'll see if it comes back to me...
Somewhat related, are you going to put the "Save as new mockup" option inside of the mockup editor in mybalsamiq? – Adam, on September 24, 2009 03:46

A comment on the question "Do you (or will you) have an API?" in Usabilla:
Just the standard stuff: tests, data behind tests (title, url, results). A really great API would be one that would allow us to create tests as well. Imagine you create a new design, you upload it, have a Usabilla test created for it, ask a standard set of questions, send it out for feedback, and pull back the results and compare across designs. – Adam, on September 03, 2009 19:38
A comment on the idea "How's Dropbox? feature" in Get Satisfaction:
Agreed on the yes/no poll. Getting into anything more than that gets hairy (where do you stop?), but if it is just a thumbs up/down or "Awesome"/"Needs work" then that gives you some real data. Just be sure to put that data in the API. We want to use it in BigBrassBand =) – Adam, on September 03, 2009 17:18-

Adam shared an idea in Get Satisfaction on September 02, 2009 23:43:
How's Dropbox? featureFeature: How's Dropbox?
Dropbox used to ask folks a simple question "How's Dropbox?". I want to say that sometimes they also asked "Is Dropbox ready for primetime?" (or something like that). They showed this while Dropbox was still in beta.
What's cool about that is that it required very little work on the users' part because it wasn't a 5 min survey so they probably got a ton of data (lots of "awesomes" and lots of "needs work"). You could track those numbers over time and get a good feel from your users (not you) about how they feel about your product. If you standardized the question then you (and we) could use it as a (not the) measure of readiness to leave beta and go live.
Could be a GS widget.
And then make the data accessible by API =)

Sorting new statusesI can sort the existing statuses into any order, but a new status can only be sorted to the top or the bottom: http://screencast.com/t/QjGd0QYP
(no biggie - great stuff!)
