A comment on the idea "Boundary hinting tool / AJAX Storyboard feature" in Balsamiq:
FWIW, colored borders would just be one more thing... – Adam, on December 14, 2009 22:41

Low hanging fruit tastes really good. Very fresh. The no border selector (now) seems easier to select than before. Dotted looks great. Just for the rectangle, right? – Adam, on December 14, 2009 22:03

Duff, just saw something to consider when implementing coupons (from Jakob Nielson's Alertbox: http://www.useit.com/alertbox/short-t...)
"Instead of using coupon codes, encode offers in special links embedded in your email newsletters and automatically transfer the coupon to the user's shopping cart. This has two benefits...
It eliminates the "enter coupon code" field, which scares away shoppers who don't have coupons (and who refuse to pay full price when the checkout flow blatantly signals that other users are getting a better deal)."

Copy/paste from Jing into Mockups doesn't workIf I try copying an image from Jing and pasting immediately into Mockups nothing happens. How is that different from a normal copy/paste in the OS? I'm on Windows Vista.

I know you don't love Jing the way I do but any love you can spare Jing would be great. fwiw, you're right, it crashes all the time.

To be honest, I can't remember now. I'll see if it comes back to me...
Somewhat related, are you going to put the "Save as new mockup" option inside of the mockup editor in mybalsamiq? – Adam, on September 24, 2009 03:46

Adam marked one of Paul Veugen's replies in Usabilla as useful. Paul Veugen replied to the question "Do you (or will you) have an API?".
A comment on the question "Do you (or will you) have an API?" in Usabilla:
Just the standard stuff: tests, data behind tests (title, url, results). A really great API would be one that would allow us to create tests as well. Imagine you create a new design, you upload it, have a Usabilla test created for it, ask a standard set of questions, send it out for feedback, and pull back the results and compare across designs. – Adam, on September 03, 2009 19:38
A comment on the idea "How's Dropbox? feature" in Get Satisfaction:
Agreed on the yes/no poll. Getting into anything more than that gets hairy (where do you stop?), but if it is just a thumbs up/down or "Awesome"/"Needs work" then that gives you some real data. Just be sure to put that data in the API. We want to use it in BigBrassBand =) – Adam, on September 03, 2009 17:18
