How's Dropbox? featureFeature: How's Dropbox?
Dropbox used to ask folks a simple question "How's Dropbox?". I want to say that sometimes they also asked "Is Dropbox ready for primetime?" (or something like that). They showed this while Dropbox was still in beta.
What's cool about that is that it required very little work on the users' part because it wasn't a 5 min survey so they probably got a ton of data (lots of "awesomes" and lots of "needs work"). You could track those numbers over time and get a good feel from your users (not you) about how they feel about your product. If you standardized the question then you (and we) could use it as a (not the) measure of readiness to leave beta and go live.
Could be a GS widget.
And then make the data accessible by API =)

Sorting new statusesI can sort the existing statuses into any order, but a new status can only be sorted to the top or the bottom: http://screencast.com/t/QjGd0QYP

A comment on the idea "Next/Previous Navigation inside of Project" in Balsamiq:
I think linking will take care of it. I'm thinking "out loud". Perhaps what I am thinking of isn't a next/previous button, but something like how flickr allows you to move around: http://screencast.com/t/XuI126Nw Again, linking may fix, but that will require 2 clicks where this would be 1 click. Right? – Adam, on August 06, 2009 12:30

Next/Previous Navigation inside of ProjectMaybe it is that the project dropdown is so slow still in Firefox, but it would be convenient to have "next/previous mockup" buttons on the mockup page...

I don't see the link to delete the mockup; but what I am looking for is a way to delete the project, not just the mockup. – Adam, on August 04, 2009 14:33

Thanks Peldi. It's a common use case and a little smooth sailing would be great. – Adam, on August 04, 2009 13:37
