Another, similar problem is that deletion for content-heavy feeds (like flickr) takes a while and there's no UI feedback on that. The deletion actually starts, but user doesn't see any response and goes away so the deletion stops. We are looking to fix this issue too.

Sorry for this issue, there's a bug we overlooked that disallows deleting feeds whose posts have been reposted. Will be fixed in the next update coming in the next few days.

There were some bugs in our endless scrolling and there's an update pending. I'll let you know when we push this update in few days to check if that solves it.

The bookmarklet can be found in the admin sidebar. When you log in, go to your soup and open the admin sidebar, it's right there on the top.

Thanks for pointing this out. We realized some time ago that this and similar problems are because some people perceive the storefront (public timeline and friends view of the soup) as "home", while we think of our own soups as place where things should happen. We're working on a slight redesign that should solve these issues to some extent.

You're right, a FAQ or simple Help isn't bad idea. Thanks for contributing one topic to a FAQ ;-)

We were also thinking of making /fof contain only the people you don't have as friend yourself, because otherwise it overlaps with /friends. What do you think? (In that case you'd have to subscribe two feeds: friends and fof)

I fully understand your concern, but the verification idea works against some of our core concepts - letting users start using soup with as little trouble as possible. That's why we don't require you to sign-up and we've even put "Me elsewhere" on our front page as an invitation to try out soup, so having a tedious verification step in between could really ruin the experience. Additionally, some feeds like last.fm won't really let you insert the 'control message'.

While I'd personally really like to assume everyone's good faith and hope there are not going to be much misuses, you're right - we'll sooner or later have this problems.

One idea would be to provide a possibility to authors whose feeds have been impersonated a possibility of inserting a "drop this feed" control message in their feeds which would cause the feed to be dropped. For now and with current amount of users/traffic, we're still able to deal with individual cases.

You're right about the soup to soup imports - that shouldn't be possible ;-)

We're a bit slow when it comes to IE issues - we really hate it ;-) - but we are investigating this. Could you point to any specifics in your configuration, because I haven't been able to reproduce this behavior so far.

Sorry for the delay, it's fixed now. In a day or two we'll push an update that should repair invalid HTML (unclosed tags etc.) in description fields so this shouldn't happen again.
