To be honest, we actually wanted to drop that skin before launching ;-) so it wasn't updated that well - it has few "bugs" one of which are lack of icons. But it turned out that quite a few people use it, so we're going to be fixing this.

Sorry for a delayed reply. Can you please provide the username that you typed into "Me elsewhere" dialog and the actual URL to your photos - that would help debug this.

The logs say that you tried added a user called "notsheepnet", which doesn't seem exist on flickr (http://flickr.com/photos/notsheepnet/)? It may be a bug in our flickr username to url logic, I'll check it out.

Hi! We just fixed the permalink misbehaviour you described: for posts that have been deleted permalinks will now redirect back to user's soup.

However, we couldn't reproduce the bug in the RSS. Are you using a newsreader, maybe it caches the RSS?

We just pushed an update that filters out Twitter, LastFM and imports from unknown services from the front page. It should increase the quality somewhat, but as Christopher said, we're working on a real solution to this problem.

Hacksause, thanks for the suggestion - we just implemented this. The icons (if you enable them in your skins) are now permalinks. This is not the final version of permalinks though, we're still working on a ideal solution ;-)

I've hacked a multi column skin for myself using custom css under http://found.soup.io/ - did you have something similar in mind?

Relatively soon we'll be improving our skin system and will introduce some kind of central repository for custom skins so you'll be able to create and upload new skins who then can be used by other users.

For now, the only option left for such customization is the custom CSS

Yeah, if you look closely, you'll see that we improved the "Reposted from" attribution which now shows the original author in addition to via. Unfortunately the one bug slipped in and the the information on original author wasn't propagated, which as Lukas said we fixed now. Thanks for reporting!
